Sabina's Yoga Clothes Collection
Finally my pelagou.eftalou collection is ready and on sale!
Inspired by the beautiful colours of the sea in Eftalou on the island of Lesvos and the deep and flowing Yoga of Angela and Victor, this little seed of an idea that entered our minds in May 2009 has burst into life !
It is a collection of clothes that are sensual to touch, easy to wear and flow with your body in the movements of Nature....For daily wear they are elegant and deliciously comfortable and for Yoga they feel like your skin!
Pelagou, antique Greek: place of water by the land, pelagou.eftalou was born right by the Aegean sea. It all unfolded so easily and felt so supported by the Universe that in May 2010 we were able to present a whole range of different styles in sensual textures and organic materials all in the colour range of this place called Eftalou.
Right after the May Yoga course we began our photo shoot for the web site which goes on line at the end of July.

The photographer was my husband Michael. He gave us the freedom to have real fun and to play or flirt with the camera and to just 'be'.
Our models were all non-professional but so very real and awesome friends that we would love to share with you some of the natural and authentic joy we all had together at the shootings.
I am so very grateful to all our dear friends who were both open and free to jump into this completely new experience of modelling and who were right there on this little spot on the planet at this time to participate and make it all happen.

listen to the waves, drop into the colours and sense the special energy of this place and
feel the warmth of the pebbles under your feet!

Angela and Victor Are Married
Angela & Victor's wedding! The wedding was Great, a beautiful day, very special with lots of folks from the community and a few yoga people as well. -Molly (click any of the pictures for the online album)
Angela and Victor are in the middle of their May Course in Greece, but are eager to share photos of their marriage day with their friends and students all over the world.
The day was beautiful in every possible way...as you can see from the wonderful album that Molly Drake has shared with us.

A Winter in Eftalou
Winter in Eftalou. This was our first experience of spending the winter months in the valley of Eftalou. We were blessed with a warm and gentle entry into December, but on Christmas day we awoke to see snow on the mountains
Fire on the hills.
Shepherds set fire to the hillside to burn off the prickly bushes and allow new grazing for the sheep
There were many wild storms and the North wind howled around our house, but finally the first signs of Spring brought the almond trees, scattered between the olives into bloom.
This photo shows a very old tree offering its flowers.
Two new houses.
 These photos show the houses under construction, with the magnificent views they offer.
 We hope to have them ready by the end of this year and available for rent next May.
Reflections on Last Year
Greetings from this beautiful valley where soft rain and streaks of sunlight move across the silvery olive trees, highlighting patches of white and pink almond blossom and sending a huge rainbow over the blue sea to Turkey!
Staying in Greece and teaching more courses/retreats this last year, was a wonderful experience for us. There was time to settle in to our 'valley home', receive several family visits and enjoy our life without airports and travel. All five courses were well attended with students from around the world... Russia, Ukraine, Latvia, Holland, Denmark, Sweden, France, England, Germany, Spain,South Africa, Japan, USA, Greece and Oman. Once again we felt both touched and honored that people travel so far to come together and share our teaching here in Eftalou. It takes only a few days for the Yoga, the sun, sea, wonderful air and the beauty of Nature to work their magic and bring a warm and joyful glow to all their faces!
Although it is one practice,each person can find their own way within it and develop both their potential and work on their specific needs... without feeling confined by any external
control. Likewise the surroundings offer every possibility for solitude, friends and activities such as swimming, soaking in the thermal hot-pool, walking in the hills or receiving expert and healing body-work and massage. And then of course, for those who want to continue their day into the night, there are tavernas, bars and 'nightlife' in Molivos!
We are teaching classes here for the people of Molivos, which are lively and fun! And have a Tai-chi class once a week with Michael, who has come to live on Lesvos with his wife Isobel, who is creating an organic farm.
Lots of good things happening!
We look forward to seeing many of you at our May and June courses and then we travel to the USA for a busy tour schedule... perhaps our last, as we really love to stay here and teach longer retreats in the beauty and magic of Eftalou!

Angela's beautiful and inspirational "The
Feminine Unfolding" is now available in DVD. It is beautiful,
inspirational, spiritual, and deeply insightful. If you have not
seen it yet, do yourself a kindness.
Angela's second DVD is now available.
The title is "Inner Body Flow". It is
a is an introduction to the vibrant concepts
of "Inner Body Yoga". It allows the student to participate
at their own level as Angela instructs a class. Victor's beautiful
and illustrative watercolours are included to give extra illustration
of the poses.

Fourth Yoga Notebook and Galleries
Good news on Victor's
fourth Yoga notebook. Ganesha Press, has told us that the
book is ON SALE now.

Yoga
Poetry
New poems from Angela and Robbie Lapp have
been added from Harbin and Feathered Pipe, one from the
Women of Wisdom Workshop, and
several from Janet Hockfeld. These are added to an earlier poem
Angela has sent from the Harbin workshop. This all started when
a tall guy with wild hair and an infectious smile handed me two
pieces of paper at the Chapel Hill 2003 workshop. And then there
is the Ohio Poem from Yellow Springs several years back. Take
a look...

Tea
At the Chapel Hill workshop last year, as he has done often in his
travels, Victor brewed up his tea for the participants. Several

Yoga Hall in Eftalou On Lesvos, Greece
We
want to share some of the photos, especially of Eftalou where
we will be spending much of our time in 2009. Perhaps

This is the town of Molivos on the island of Lesvos, about 4 kilometers
from the Yoga Hall at Eftalou.

Background
on the Yoga Hall:
Angela
and Victor purchased just over an acre of land on the island
of Lesvos, Greece and have built a
yoga hall. You can look the pictures
from 2004 and the previous pictures
of the final excavation showing the ancient walls and where
the coins and pottery shards were found. Victor has been sending
original water colors in appreciation
to the support people are giving in this project.
The
Yoga Hall on Lesvos is place where many yogis will be
able to go to explore and expand their practice, as well as a
home base for Angela and Victor.
