The first Workshop of 2003 was held in Sydney, BC. Grace Gordon-Collins has sent several beautiful pictures of that workshop.

There is news on the Eftalou Yoga Hall building project!  The project had been delayed as the archeologists dig through the foundation area of the new yoga hall-to-be. See the previous message if you have not read about that yet. There are pictures of the final excavation showing the ancient walls and where the coins and pottery shards were found. This is the latest letter from Angela and Victor:

     We received good news in a letter from Greece telling us that the archeological dig has come to an end. We still have to await the decisions made by the head archeologist and the architect of how the Yoga Hall building can be placed over the dug-up walls, for they are to be covered with gravel and a nylon sheet over-poured with concrete to preserve the site.
     We are happy to hear that we will be able to build now that our land is not to become an archeological site! The archeologists are also happy for they found 18 copper coins from a time period between 100 BC and 100 AD. Roman coins with Romulus and Remus suckling from the great wolf and a portrait on the reverse side. Some coins are in excellent condition, some are decorated quite a bit. Three truckloads of ceramic shards, Roman, Greek, and even prehistoric, were taken away to be reassembled if possible and will find a place in a newly-to-be-built archeological museum in Molivos with our name tickets next to it.
     The remains of stone walls belonged to a Roman building (not a farmhouse) and underneath some remains of a building dating back some 1500 or 2000 years BC.
     We look forward to a bright future for this project from now on!

There are two big projects in the works, the new yoga hall in Eftalou, Greece, and the third edition of Victor's yoga notebook 'From Inside Out'

Angela and Victor have purchased just over an acre of land on the island of Lesvos, Greece and have started construction on a yoga hall. Victor has been sending original water colors in appreciation to the support people are giving in this project.

Those of you who own of have seen Victor's Yoga Notebooks, From Inside Out and From Inside Out Book II, know what a valuable reference they are, documenting details and insights from Angela and Victor's teachings, their yoga practice and workshops.

Both of these projects are exciting. The Yoga Hall on Lesvos will be a place where many future yogis will be able to go to explore and expand their practice, as well as a home base for Angela and Victor. The notebook will be a valuable resource for all of us who have found so much value in the workshops and example of this marvelous pair of yogis.

And both of these projects are in need of funding. Many more thousands of dollars (pounds, doubloons, euros, ?) will be needed to complete the Yoga Hall and Victor has only $8 of the $25 thousand needed to get the Notebook published. Donations, pre-purchases of the Molivos Workshop on Lesvos, selections from Victor's Gallery 1 or Gallery 2, or just contributions from your overflow would be welcome.
